Title: Team Lead and Account Manager

Job Description:
Team Lead and Account Manager to work with clients in providing CFO Advisory, comprising of small and large scale organizations including technology companies, NGO’s, entertainment, manufacturing concerns in the US.

As the practice has grown, the company has a need for a passionate team to help take the firm’s clients to the next level. The candidate will work directly with clients and Astute team members
The candidate shall be a part of a small yet motivated remotely working team in India supporting the US clients for the business advisory and accounting services. The ideal candidate shall be able to lead a team, possess the highest level of integrity, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and be focused on adding value to the company.
Responsibilities:
Team Management
- Manage and lead a team of Financial Associates working remotely in a cloud-based environment to deliver superior outsourced accounting and operational services to US clients.
- Balance workflow by aligning client’s needs with Financial Associate expertise and capacity.
- Review Financial Associates work to ensure the highest quality service to our clients.
- P&L responsibility for all aspects of assigned clients and team.
Account Management
- Build trusted advisor relationships with client executives by gaining an intimate understanding of their business objectives and financial needs.
- Support client’s evolving requirements by educating executives on varied expertise in accounting and operational services.
- Proactively identify client issues, communicate, and implement timely solutions.
Client Support
- Provide exceptional accounting and operational support to our clients.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of professional accounting and bookkeeping practices; keep abreast of latest developments in technologies to deliver outstanding quality service.
- Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, corporate finance and risk management practices
- Knowledge of ASC 606, Federal & State Taxes and payroll taxes
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Understanding of strong internal control system including drafting business policies and procedures
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and Accounting (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.)
- Ability to analyze financial data and provide relevant and meaningful insights to clients for better decision making.
- Ability to strategize and solve problems under pressure.

Qualifications:
- CMA or MBA with prior relevant experience
- 5+ experience in the industry
- CPA/CA certification is a plus.
Experience
- Prior experience in US GAAP, IFRS, M&A transactions, FP&A
- Prior experience and complete understanding of US payroll.
- Proficient knowledge in ERP, Accounting, CRM, time tracking and payroll software – Netsuite, Deltek Ajera, Quickbooks, Sage, Xero, Monday.com, Asana, Jira, Airtable, Salesforce, ADP, Paychex, Gusto, QuickBooks Payroll.
- Proven experience as account manager or team lead.
- Preferred experience is ERP and Accounting software implementations
- Preferred experience in a business advisory or consulting firm
